Für die Zuchtzulassung benötigt man laut  Zuchtordnung ab 01.01.2011 zwei Ausstellungen, bei denen der DKBS eine Sonderschau angegliedert hat und zwei verschiedenen Spezialzuchtrichtern, zweimal mindestens die Formwertnote „sehr gut“. Eine Formwertnote darf aus der Zwischenklasse stammen, das andere Urteil muss mindestens aus der offenen Klasse stammen.
